Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) is the national biggest conglomerate in the airport and aviation industry. The core activities include the management, operation and maintenance as well as development of airports.
We were proud to be part of the company’s achievement when we had been appointed as a Value Management consultant in undertaking the VM services for MAHB’s Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) of Year 2008 involving projects, services, facilities & equipments for its airports nationwide.
The VM studies were successfully conducted by us managed to further optimise and save MAHB’s capital expenditure for about 26% without sacrificing quality, reliability and performance.
As such, the top management of MAHB had mandated that any budget application submitted by project owner of more than RM300,000 must go through the process of Value Management.
We are now being engaged by MAHB to render Value Planning, Value Engineering and Value Management Change Proposal for the proposed Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (formerly known as the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT)) of original estimated cost around RM4.8billion. To date, we have saved the development cost around RM1.2billion!
